Why
should I advertise on the National Professional Process Server
Registry instead of on other directories or on search engines?
Registering your firm with the National
Professional Process Server & Private Investigator Registry
allows you to take advantage of our online advertising and other
marketing directed to attorneys, process servers, and others seeking
the services of process servers and private investigators. Advertising
on our registry is not a replacement for other advertising you may
wish to conduct, just a sensible, supplemental, low cost investment
in attracting new business without having to pay monthly advertising
rates.
As you are aware, search engine advertising can be effective,
and the cost is determined by the number of people who actually
"click" on your listing. Advertising
on other directories can also assist you in developing new business,
and our advice would be to advertise anywhere that you can to increase
business leads, provided that the costs are not prohibitive. Some
directories charge flat rates, some charge monthly fees that can
exceed $150 a month. You can do the math to see
how many leads you have gotten as a result of this advertising,
and if it's worth the investment. The bottom line is
"keep doing what works".
As stated above, our Registry is advertised on the Google Network
(MSN, Yahoo, Alta Vista) and other search engines to increase site
traffic. As traffic increases, your listing will have the
opportunity of being viewed by more potential clients each year.
Our other marketing programs,
including direct mailings to attorneys and others, along with our
useful free content, will drive significant traffic to our Process
Server Registry and promote return visitors who will be able to
visit the site for purposes of accessing content, and locating process
servers and private investigators.

How
many business leads do your project I'll receive each month by
advertising on the National Professional Process Server & P.I.
Registry?
The number of leads you will receive will
depend on various things, such as how many cities you are listed
in and/or whether or not you are listed in just one city, Statewide
or Countrywide. The more exposure you have, the more leads
you can potentially generate. The choice for broadening
your listing exposure is yours to make, and whatever you elect to
do, the cost is "fixed" and "low", as you can
see by the costs shown above. Also, keep in mind that
when an attorney or other visitor reviews listings, they might tend
to "select" a company that has a web site detailing all
services provided.
Thus, if you do not have a web site, it would be beneficial if you
would either have one created, or detail all services you provide
in the "Description" area of your listing, where you should
list information such as the length of time you have been in business,
all services you provide, and professional memberships. Other
factors that can contribute to the ultimate selection process can
be "how professional your web site is", so if it is "homespun"
you might want to consider investing a small amount of money to
have it upgraded.

Where
will my listing be positioned when an attorney or other visitor
conducts a search for a Process Server or Private Investigator in
my city/region, state or country?
If there are numerous listings on a page when
a search is submitted, how can I be sure that someone will select
my listing to view?
When a visitor to the registry conducts a
search by "State, City, Country, Zip Code etc., a list of process
servers and/or P.I.'s in the geographic search area appears. The
search results include the display of three distinct sections on
the same listings page: Servers who provide service throughout
the USA, Statewide and/or Countrywide service, Servers who provide
service limited to a specific city, and "Featured Servers".
All of the listings in these sections "rotate"
as the number of listings in any geographic area increases to the
point where searching on added pages is necessary. This
rotation also applies to the "Preferred Servers" section,
where all listings have the opportunity of being displayed as visitors
refresh the page and as new visitors arrive at the page. This insures
that all listings will have good visibility during the 12 month
listing period.
We recognize that many searches will result in numerous listings
appearing on a single page, but we ask you to keep this in mind....our
log files reveal that when an attorney or other party visits our
registry and searches for a process server for a particular area,
they do not simply click on ONE listing....they click on many, and
sometimes all of them. The reason for this is that they came to
the registry to find what they consider to be a Server who is established,
reliable, and who provides the services they require. They
cannot determine this unless they click on many listings and compare
companies.
IMPORTANT:
If you only register for a listing in your own city, or
if you register for a listing in your own city plus a few other
cities in your state or foreign country (available by quote), be
aware that a majority of visitors to the site simply conduct a search
by choosing a State or Country, and very often they do not enter
a city. In this case, only the listings of those companies that
purchased a STATEWIDE listing at a rate of $75 (per year), or COUNTRYWIDE
LISTING would appear when the search was conducted, and companies
or individuals (Agents) that only paid for a listing in their own
city or additional cities, would not appear.
Thus, we recommend that
if you serve papers in various different cities within your state
or country, you should register for a STATEWIDE OR COUNTRYWIDE LISTING
to insure that your firm appears whenever a search is conducted
by your State or Country.

How
can I increase my ability to generate more leads?
Simply stated, if your listing
appears only in a single city, region, state or country, you would
be wise to list your firm in additional cities, regions, states
or countries so that there are more opportunities for visitors to
view your listing and select your firm. The cost for
multiple listings is "low" and at a fixed "annual
cost", with no monthly fees to pay. If you
need help in making listing decisions, send us an email and we'll
be happy to discuss your goals and the nominal costs involved.
Why
we charge low "annual rates" instead of monthly fees?
We do not charge monthly fees for any type of listings,
as we recognize that the more listings that are added to a particular
city, state or country would tend to reduce the number of leads
that any process server or private investigator might achieve.
As an example, if we were to charge
you $150 per month for a listing, and you received 50 leads, your
cost per lead would be $7.50 per lead. However, if you only received
4 leads in a particular month due to a greater number of listings
in your area, then your cost per lead would be $37.50.
By maintaining a low annual rate for
all listings, process servers and private investigators can develop
leads at a very modest average cost per lead over the course of
a year. For instance, if you purchased a STATEWIDE LISTING for $75
and only received 4 leads per month during a 12 month period (48
leads), your cost per lead would only be $1.56 ($75 divided by 48
leads). If you only received 10 leads during an entire
year, your cost per lead would have been $7.50 per lead ($75 divided
by 10 leads). However you look at it, you can make
a very low annual investment to develop some new business, and
that makes good sense.
